Royce Kinniebrew

AUTHOR CAREER BIOGRAPHY

Royce received a B.A. from the University of Iowa and began his work in diversity, equity, and inclusion for federal agencies like the Department of Justice, NASA, and the Department of Education in 2004. At the same time, he earned his master’s in education and worked as a classroom teacher, coach, and K-12 administrator.

He has lectured to audiences in China, Brazil, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, Canada, and throughout the United States. Royce provides staff training for federal agencies, parents, students, and educators in D.E.I., trauma-informed practices, and social and emotional learning to improve the success of vulnerable communities inside and outside of the classroom.

Royce Kinniebrew has worked as a classroom teacher, athletic director, and K-12 administrator. Some of his former clients include Howard University, Peen State University, NASA, and the U.S. Department of Education.
